Tua Rita Tierre

Tua Rita Tierre is a vibrant and unconventional red that showcases the estate's mastery of Merlot within the mineral-rich soils of Suvereto. Unlike the high-end crus like Redigaffi, Tierre is aged primarily in stainless steel vats (with a small portion sometimes seeing neutral oak) to preserve its raw energy and primary fruit character. It is generally a blend of Merlot with a small addition of Alicante Bouschet.
On the nose, it typically delivers an intense and rustic bouquet of blackberry, liquorice, and wild Mediterranean herbs, underpinned by the estate's signature smoky and ferrous minerality. The palate is full-bodied and well-structured, featuring generous dark fruit flavours and a savory complexity. It maintains a lively tension and firm, rustic tannins that lead to a long, spice-accentuated finish.
