Traveller Whiskey

Traveller Whiskey is a smooth, highly approachable blended American whiskey crafted as a first-of-its-kind creative collaboration between Buffalo Trace Distillery and 8x Grammy Award-winning country music artist Chris Stapleton. Overseen by Buffalo Trace Master Distiller Harlen Wheatley, the selection process involved evaluating over 50 distinct experimental iterations before "Blend No. 40" was officially chosen. Expertly blended from premium whiskies hand-selected from the award-winning Buffalo Trace portfolio, this expression focuses heavily on drinkability and balance. It deliberately strips away aggressive wood and overly intense proof parameters to deliver a highly versatile spirit that functions beautifully as a daily sipper or an accommodating cocktail base.

Food Pairing: Pairs wonderfully with smoked beef brisket, sharp aged Cheddar or Gouda cheese, crispy prosciutto toasts, sea salt caramels, and classic southern pecan tarts.

TASTING NOTES - A clear, warm honey-amber color with a light-to-medium body and an exceptionally smooth, soft, and approachable texture on the palate.

NOSE - Sweet and invitingly gentle, opening with aromas of vanilla, caramel, and buttery shortbread, subtly nuanced by light dried fruit notes and a faint hint of toasted oak wood.

PALATE - Light and easy-drinking on the tongue, delivering an initial touch of honeyed caramel sweetness that transitions gracefully into toasted nuts, gentle baking spices, and soft oak char.

FINISH - Clean and relatively brief to medium in duration, resolving smoothly with lingering notes of warm wood spice and a sweet, subtle trace of vanilla cream.
