Crafted in Kosjerić, Serbia, by Destilerija Zarić (one of the Balkan region's most celebrated modern craft distilleries), Travarica is a refined herbal spirit (Travarica) rooted in traditional Balkan apothecary traditions. Starting with a pure, high-quality fruit distillate base (typically distilled plum or grape), the distillery macerates a proprietary blend of hand-harvested mountain herbs and botanicals. Key herbs include wormwood, mint, St. John's wort, sage, chamomile, and gentian. The mixture is then rested in wooden casks to allow the complex botanicals to integrate seamlessly with the base spirit. The result is a vibrant, golden-green herbal brandy that strikes a harmonious balance between aromatic botanical bitterness, refreshing mint, and gentle fruit sweetness.
