Trapiche Gran Medalla Malbec 2023 is a concentrated, complex, and beautifully structured red wine crafted by the renowned Trapiche winery. Sourced from high-altitude vineyards situated on alluvial, stony soils in the Uco Valley, Mendoza, this 100% Malbec represents the summit of the estate's high-elevation viticulture. Aged for 18 months in new French oak barrels, it shows a deep purple hue and opens with intense aromatics of black cherries, plums, wild blueberries, lavender, cocoa powder, and delicate sweet spices. On the palate, it is full-bodied, juicy, and velvety, offering a rich core of ripe dark fruits, polished, fine-grained tannins, and a vibrant, long, mineral-driven finish.
