In the glass, the Tossals Selecció of Cellers Grifoll Declara reveals a dense purple color. The nose of this Cellers Grifoll Declara red wine shows all sorts of morello cherries, plums, blueberries, blackberries and mulberries. As if that wasn't already impressive, black tea, vanilla and gingerbread spice join in due to the aging in small wooden barrels.

On the palate, the Tossals Selecció from Cellers Grifoll Declara starts pleasantly dry, grippy and aromatic. Finally, on the finish, this well-storable from the wine-growing region of Catalonia delights with beautiful length. Hints of mulberry and morello cherry are again evident.

This red wine from Spain is best enjoyed at a temperate 15 - 18°C. It is perfect as an accompaniment to veal escalope with beans and tomatoes, boeuf bourguignon or ossobuco.
