Torre Zambra Villamagna Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is a remarkably powerful, deep, and elegant red wine showcasing an impenetrable carmine red color with persistent violet glints. The highly expressive nose opens with a dense burst of black fruits, including ripe blackberry, juicy currant, wild raspberry, black cherry, and plum, beautifully framed by layered undertones of cocoa, licorice root, sweet tobacco, and earthy leather. On the full-bodied and enveloping palate, it delivers rich dark fruit flavors perfectly balanced by a vibrant spine of alpine acidity and robust, finely polished tannins. The complex structure culminates in an incredibly long, savory finish accented by a delicate touch of warm baking spices and mineral graphite.
Food Pairing: Pairs wonderfully with roasted lamb chops with mint, rich wild boar ragù, traditional slow-cooked duck confit, classic meat lasagna, and aged Pecorino Romano.
