Torre Zambra Villamagna 2020 / 2021

Made entirely from Montepulciano, this red starts off with a bright nose of tobacco, crushed herbs and black pepper. The palate is silky smooth and succulent in a firm red-cherry flavour, with plenty of acidity and gripping tannins holding it all in check.

93 Points - Wine Enthusiast

The nose is tangy and lively, with aromas of sour cherry, wild strawberry and oven-dried tomato, anchored to the savory weight of coffee grinds, mixed herbs, crushed rocks and pepper. The palate is fresh and herbaceous, but also dense, textured, warm and peppery, for an immensely satisfying wine from start to finish.

90 Points - Wine Spectator

Cocoa powder and loamy earth notes lace flavors of plum pudding and cherry compote in this thick red, with dense tannins. The lively orange peel acidity keeps the dark, deep profile on track, while fragrant hints of wild herbs and milled pepper play on the finish.
