Pleasant aromas of fresh blackberries and blue plums follow through to a medium-to full-bodied palate where the fruit coats the medium tannins nicely to give a firm, fruity finish with some length. Give this a year to mellow a little. Try from 2023.

Heady aromas of clove, cinnamon and peppercorn ride high above the brandy-soaked black cherry core in this hedonistic red. It's full in feel on the palate, with accents of cola, clove and cinnamon framing the plump dark-cherry core. Polished tannins and integrated acidity keep it grounded and bright, making this a great red for those who love rich fruit and oak in tandem.

The primarily earthy, mineral nose has aromas of pepper, topsoil, crushed rocks, violets and herbs, but also emergent tart fruit notes of cherry and blood orange. The fruit ripens and sweetens on the palate, but stays lively and crunchy, while the tangy, rocky salinity and bitter herbaceousness from the nose return on the wings of searing acid.
