XOP Tormore 1995 25 Year Old

The beautiful distillery of Tormore in Speyside is a lesser known distillery, but if you have driven in Speyside, you will no doubt have passed this visually striking distillery. Most of Tormore's production is purchased by blenders, so it is quite rare and exciting to see a 25 year old single cask bottling.

Bottled from a refill Hogshead by the Douglas Laing team, this is one of 314 bottles.

Official Tasting Notes 

Nose – The nose opens with summer straw and tangy gooseberries developing to green apples and candied nuts. The palate bursts with vanilla'd oak, warming nutmeg and buttery oat biscuits. There's a dried banana chip sweetness on the finish with orchard fruits and lemon rind.
