Tobermory Hebridean Gin

Tobermory Hebridean Gin is a unique, handcrafted spirit produced at the historic Tobermory Distillery on the picturesque Isle of Mull. What sets this gin apart is its base: it is distilled using a splash of Tobermory's celebrated unpeated single malt Scotch whisky new-make spirit. This malty base is combined with a carefully selected array of local botanicals, including Hebridean heather, elderflower, wild tea, and juniper, which are steeped for 24 hours in a direct-fired copper pot still named "Wee John." The result is a vibrant, characterful gin that beautifully captures the wild, coastal essence of the Inner Hebrides.

Food Pairing: Freshly shucked oysters, smoked salmon with capers, goat cheese crostini, or grilled lemon-herb chicken skewers.

TASTING NOTES Crystal clear and bright with a rich, slightly oily, and beautifully textured mouthfeel due to its single malt spirit base.

NOSE Fresh and aromatic, opening with vibrant juniper, citrus zest, and sweet coriander, layered with delicate floral notes of heather, wild tea, and a subtle hint of malty cereal sweetness.

PALATE Rich and beautifully balanced on the tongue, revealing forward notes of fresh juniper, bright lemon, and orange peel, quickly followed by herbaceous hints of wild tea, elderflower, and a unique, savory malt backbone.

FINISH Long, clean, and refreshingly dry with a lingering trail of citrus oils, fresh herbs, and a gentle hint of warming white pepper spice.
