About the Thistle And Weed Nastergal Red Blend
A deeply coloured, Portuguese-inspired red blend from Thistle & Weed in the Western Cape. Tempranillo provides the backbone, complemented by Alicante Bouschet and Portuguese varieties, delivering dark berry, violet, dried herb and spice character with rich fruit, fresh acidity and firm, polished tannins.
Food Pairing: Grilled lamb, beef burgers, venison, tomato-based pasta and roasted vegetables complement its dark fruit, savoury herbs, spice and structured tannins.
