The Senator Barrel Proof Rye is a small-batch, barrel-proof straight rye whiskey bottled by Proof & Wood Ventures. Sourced from Ross & Squibb Distillery (MGP) in Indiana and aged in new charred oak barrels for at least six years, this high-rye spirit is bottled uncut and non-chill filtered, delivering a dynamic, spicy, and robust profile.

Food Pairing: Grilled prime ribeye, smoked pork belly, dark chocolate, pecan pie, or strong blue cheese.

Tasting Notes : Deep copper-amber in color with a full-bodied, rich, and oily mouthfeel.

Nose : Toffee, orange peel, herbal notes, light tobacco, and toasted oak with hints of dark chocolate.
