The National Choice Girvan 1990 Single Grain Scotch

The National Choice Girvan 1990 is an independently bottled Single Grain Scotch Whisky distilled at Girvan Distillery in Scotland. The BSW-listed expression is bottled at 48.5% ABV in a 700 mL format. Girvan is renowned for long-aged grain whisky, which typically develops a soft, dessert-like character as it matures. For this particular National Choice bottling, reliable sources confirm the 1990 vintage and 48.5% strength, but I could not verify the exact age statement, cask number, maturation cask or bottling year, so those details are intentionally left unspecified rather than inferred from other Girvan 1990 releases.
