The Journey 44 Canadian Whisky

Created by former NHL brothers Chris and Sean Pronger in collaboration with Niagara Falls Craft Distillers, The JRNY 44 is a Canadian craft whisky distilled from 100% Saskatchewan rye grain. Cut with limestone-filtered water from the Niagara River, the spirit undergoes a double-barrel maturation process—aging initially for three years in new American white oak barrels before receiving an enhancement in proprietary casks. Bottled at 44% ABV, it presents a bold rye-forward character softened by rich oak and vanilla undertones.

Food Pairing: Grilled steaks, smoked barbecue pork ribs, sharp aged Cheddar, dark chocolate tart, or maple-glazed pecans.

Tasting Notes: Rich amber with bright clarity and steady, medium legs.

Nose: Robust and aromatic, featuring aromas of toasted oak, vanilla bean, and sweet caramel accompanied by light cinnamon and warm baking spices.

Palate: Bold peppery rye spice upfront, balancing into smooth flavors of honeyed cereal, caramel, toasted oak, and subtle vanilla.

Finish: Smooth and lingering with persistent rye grain spice, light oak tannins, and gentle honey sweetness.
