The Glenturret 7 Year Old Peat Smoked

A new entry in Glenturret’s core line, this is the distillery’s first peated single malt. It combines youthful smoke with the fresh fruit and oak character Glenturret is known for.

On the nose you’ll find sweet vanilla, citrus fruits, and a clean wave of peat smoke, followed by warming spice; ginger and nutmeg, and hints of sea salt. The oak influence is present but balanced, with European and refill woods softening the smoke.

The finish is softly peated and slightly fruity with lingering oak and a gentle salty edge. Enjoy this whisky neat to let the smoke and vanilla dance together, or add a splash of water to draw out more citrus and mellow the peat.
