The Glenturret 35 Year Old Highland Single Malt Scotch

The Glenturret 35 Year Old is an exceptionally rare Highland single malt introduced as part of the distillery’s 2023 collection. Matured for three and a half decades in a single European oak Sherry butt, the cask was selected for its unusually complex character, combining traditional dried fruit, spice and mature oak with unexpected tropical fruit and vanilla notes. Bottled at 42.8% ABV, this limited release was restricted to only 185 bottles worldwide.

Food Pairing: Aged Comté, roasted hazelnuts, crème brûlée, fruitcake, citrus desserts or fine dark chocolate.

Tasting Notes: Rich and refined with caramelized tropical fruit, soft marshmallow and vanilla custard alongside dried raisins, toasted oak, citrus and warming spices.

Nose: Caramelized tropical fruits with soft marshmallow, rich vanilla custard, dried raisins and toasted oak.

Palate: Cinnamon and bright wood spices lead into citrus fruit and sultanas, complemented by mature oak and sweet vanilla.

Finish: Long and fruity with lingering sweet vanilla, mature oak and bursts of warming spice.

Serve: Enjoy neat at room temperature in a whisky tasting glass. Allow it time to open before drinking so the mature fruit, oak and spice character can develop fully.
