The Dalmore Port Wood Reserve

The Dalmore Port Wood Reserve is a luxury single malt Scotch whisky crafted at The Dalmore Distillery in Alness. Initially matured in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, the liquid is then finished in aged Tawny Port pipes sourced from the W. & J. Graham's estate in Portugal, delivering a rich, complex profile with signature notes of ripe fruit, warmth, and spice.

Food Pairing: Roasted duck, venison with berry reduction, dark chocolate desserts, Stilton cheese, or pecan pie.

Tasting Notes : Deep mahogany amber in color with a rich, smooth, and velvety mouthfeel.

Nose : Sweet red berries, Seville oranges, fresh plums, nectarines, and subtle dark chocolate.

Palate : Creamy caramel, roasted chestnuts, poached pears, dark forest fruits, and light cinnamon spice.

Finish : Long and warming with lingering sultanas, cocoa powder, blood orange, and gentle oak.
