The Dalmore King Alexander III is a masterful and wildly complex Highland single malt crafted by legendary Master Distiller Richard Paterson to honor the heroic act of Colin of Kintail, Chief of the Clan Mackenzie, who saved King Alexander III of Scotland from a charging stag in 1263. To achieve its unparalleled depth, this whisky undergoes an incredibly ambitious six-cask maturation process. It is carefully aged in a bespoke combination of ex-bourbon casks, Matusalem Oloroso sherry wood, Madeira barrels, Marsala casks, Port pipes, and Cabernet Sauvignon wine barriques.
