The Aberturret London Dry Gin 700ml

The Aberturret London Dry Gin is a Scottish craft spirit produced by The Glenturret Distillery in Crieff, Perthshire. Named after Aberturret House, the historical home of the Murray family who founded the distillery, this expression bridges classic gin heritage with Scotch whisky tradition. Distilled using a combination of 14 hand-selected botanicals including locally foraged Perthshire chamomile and sumac, the spirit is distinctively enriched with a portion of The Glenturret’s single malt new make spirit, providing a rich, creamy, and complex character.

Food Pairing: Smoked salmon, roasted chicken with herbs, goat cheese crostini, fresh oysters, and lemon tart.

Tasting Notes: Crystal clear in appearance with a remarkably smooth, creamy, and unctuous mouthfeel.

Nose: Juniper is prominently to the fore, accented by bright zesty lime peel, grapefruit, and a clean minerality, accompanied by a subtle hint of toasted marshmallow.

Palate: Creamy and malt-forward up front as the new make spirit integrates with resinous juniper, leading into bright lemon and lime citrus, floral chamomile, pine, spicy pink peppercorn, and earthy sumac sweetness.

Finish: Long and energizing with a prickle of lemon sherbet, lingering pine spice, and a gentle wisp of sweet liquorice.

Serve: Serve over ice topped with premium Indian tonic water garnished with a slice of fresh grapefruit or a sprig of rosemary, or mix into a classic Dry Martini or Negroni.
