About the Textbook Cabernet Sauvignon
A quintessential and high-toned expression of the variety, the Textbook Cabernet Sauvignon is designed to be a "textbook" example of Napa Valley winemaking—balancing power with structural elegance. Sourced primarily from the Oakville and Rutherford districts, this wine presents a deep ruby-purple color and an expressive bouquet of blackcurrants, ripe plums, and black cherries, seamlessly interwoven with notes of cedar, tobacco leaf, and subtle baking spices. On the palate, it is full-bodied and remarkably supple, showcasing a dense core of dark fruit supported by fine-grained, velvety tannins and a vibrant acidity. Having aged for approximately 14 months in French oak, it delivers a long, polished finish with lingering nuances of dark chocolate and a signature savory minerality.
