Eric Texier St-Julien en St-Alban

Éric Texier Côtes du Rhône St-Julien-en-St-Alban is a vibrant, terroir-driven Northern Rhône Syrah produced by organic winemaking pioneer Éric Texier. Grown on south-facing granite slopes in the Ardèche region along the Ouvèze valley, this wine captures the warm, solar microclimate of St-Julien-en-St-Alban. Vinified using traditional whole-cluster fermentation with indigenous yeasts in open concrete tanks and aged on fine lees without fining or filtration, it showcases bright aromas of crushed blackberries, wild plum, white pepper, licorice, and distinct granite minerality. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and supple, offering juicy dark fruit layers, gentle acidity, and a savory, peppery finish.
