About the Terre Nere Brunello Di Montalcino 2020
A traditional and soulfully crafted expression of southern Montalcino, the Terre Nere Brunello di Montalcino is known for its balance of power and approachability. Sourced from estate vineyards characterized by black, loamy soils, this wine displays a brilliant ruby red color with garnet highlights. The nose is highly aromatic, offering a classic bouquet of wild cherries, red plums, and sun-dried tomatoes, layered with sophisticated notes of leather, tobacco, and balsamic herbs. On the palate, it is full-bodied and well-structured, showcasing a velvety texture with firm, ripe tannins and a characteristic saline minerality. Following the required maturation in Slavonian oak casks, it delivers a long, persistent finish with hints of spice and forest floor.

Textbook Brunello with cherry and orange-peel aromas and flavors, as well as dried flowers. It’s medium-bodied with an integrated and very fine texture at the end. Energetic and focused. Drinkable now, but better in three or four years.
