Fuenteseca Extra Anejo 11 Year Old Tequila

Crafted at the historic Fonseca family distillery in Atotonilco El Alto, Jalisco, Fuenteseca Reserva Extra Añejo 11 Year Old is an exceptional, long-aged 100% Weber Blue Agave spirit curated by legendary master distiller Enrique Fonseca. Distilled in copper pot stills from overripe, sugar-dense highland agave, the spirit was filled into barrels in the mid-2000s and aged for 11 full years in a cool, high-altitude subterranean cellar. The expression features a split-barrel aging regimen maturing partially in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels and partially in French oak dark wine casks—before master blending and bottling. The result is a masterclass in wood integration that retains remarkable core agave character amidst layers of complex wood spice, dried fruit, and dark chocolate.

Food Pairing: Prime dry-aged ribeye steak, dark chocolate tarts (70%+ cacao), aged Manchego or Gouda cheeses, slow-braised mole poblano, toasted pecans, or fine cigars.

Tasting Notes: Deep mahogany amber with rich copper highlights, exceptional viscosity, and thick, slow-creeping legs.
