This "Est" (East) bottling represents a selection from pebbly, high-elevation soils. It is aged for 40 months in large Slavonian oak barrels followed by 12 months in the bottle, resulting in a wine of immense structure and aging potential. The 2016 Riserva is noted for its inky dark appearance and high 15% alcohol content, offering an intense bouquet of black cherry, wild rose, spice, and cured tobacco.
