Teeling Single Grain Irish Whiskey 1L

Produced by Teeling Whiskey in Dublin, Ireland, Teeling Single Grain is an unconventional Irish single grain whiskey crafted from a mashbill of 95% corn and 5% malted barley. Column distilled and matured exclusively in American red wine casks, it develops a distinctive fruit-driven character with red berries, grape sweetness and gentle spice balanced by drying wine tannins. Bottled at 46% ABV and non-chill filtered, the 1L format offers the same core Single Grain expression in a larger bottle.

Food Pairing: Roasted duck, glazed pork, mild cheeses, berry desserts, dark chocolate, or charcuterie with fruit preserves.

Tasting Notes: Smooth and fruit-forward, combining ripe red berries and grape sweetness with gentle spice and the drying tannic influence of red wine casks.

Nose: Aromatic and inviting, with red grape and ripe berry notes supported by underlying sweetness and a gentle touch of spice.

Palate: Silky and smooth, developing deep berry flavours and sweet grain character alongside a subtle layer of warming spice.

Finish: Short and distinctly dry, with lingering red-fruit character and tannic structure from the wine-cask maturation.

Serve: Enjoy neat at room temperature, over ice, or in whiskey-forward cocktails where its berry fruit and red-wine influence can complement the other ingredients.
