Bearing the name "Campolupi" ("Field of Wolves") as an homage to the wild wolves that roam the surrounding hillsides, this prestigious Gran Selezione represents the pinnacle of the estate's winemaking pyramid. Sourced entirely from select, high-elevation Sangiovese blocks sitting at 550 meters above sea level and blended with a touch of indigenous Colorino, it undergoes patient maturation in French oak barrels. It displays a deep garnet red profile bursting with enticing aromas of violets, ripe plums, cassis, and black pepper.
