Tenuta di Arceno Campolupi Chianti Classico Gran Selezione 2022 is a layered, highly elegant, and structurally impressive red wine from the historic Tenuta di Arceno estate, located in the southern, amphitheater-like hills of Castelnuovo Berardenga. A beautiful blend of mostly Sangiovese with a small splash of Colorino, this Gran Selezione demonstrates exceptional balance and depth. On the nose, it opens with enticing aromas of fresh mint, wild roses, and bay leaf, leading to deep notes of ripe red cherries, dried cranberries, and warm black pepper. The palate is complex and rich, supported by vibrant acidity and velvety, finely textured tannins. Pure fruit flavors of red berry and plum are beautifully balanced by an earthy touch of forest floor and a savory, lingering finish accented by hints of thyme and licorice.

Food Pairing: Pairs wonderfully with rosemary-roasted rack of lamb, slow-cooked wild boar ragù, grilled Bistecca alla Fiorentina, or mature Pecorino Toscano cheese.
