With 5,000 bottles made, the Tenuta Campo al Signore 2019 Bolgheri Rosso Volante is a pure expression of Merlot with vines planted in a mix of sand and clay soils. The wine offers a medium-rich mouthfeel with dark fruit and softly toasted spice. Thanks to 12 months' aging in 500-liter barrels, there is a good amount of spicy tar and smoke (especially for a Bolgheri Rosso).
