About the Bodegas Ramón Ramos Tardencuba Crianza Toro
A magnificent and beautifully robust Spanish red wine masterfully crafted by Bodegas Ramón Ramos in the historic Toro appellation of Castilla y León. Sourced from low-yielding, centenarian bush vines—many of which still thrive on their original pre-phylloxera rootstocks—this expressive 100% Tinta de Toro (the local clone of Tempranillo) reflects generations of winemaking wisdom. Patiently aged for a minimum of 12 months in oak barrels to earn its 'Crianza' designation, it reveals an incredibly concentrated bouquet of intense dark cherries, ripe blackberries, and rich cacao, layered with savory nuances, creamy oak textures, warm baking spices, and an earthy mineral backbone.
Food Pairing: Pairs flawlessly with smoked or charcoal-grilled meats, slow-cooked wild boar stews, rich lentil legumes, or premium boards of extra-aged manchego cheese.
