Tarbert Legbiter Navy Strength Gin 500ml

Handcrafted on Torrisdale Castle Estate in the Kintyre peninsula of Scotland, this eco-friendly Navy Strength gin is distilled using hydro-electricity powered by a local burn. Named after King Magnus Barefoot's legendary sword "Legbiter," this high-proof gin increases the proportion of botanical oils—incorporating hibiscus flower alongside traditional botanicals—to deliver a bold, warming, and robust maritime-inspired profile.

Food Pairing: Rich seafood chowder, haggis croquettes, sharp mature Cheddar, smoked mackerel, or spicy cured charcuterie.

Tasting Notes: Crystal clear in appearance with a full-bodied, rich, and viscous mouthfeel that carries intense botanical depth.

Nose: Vibrant piney juniper leading the way, followed by bright citrus zest, floral hibiscus, warm aromatic spice, and subtle floral warmth.

Palate: Bold, rich, and intensely flavorful, opening with robust juniper berries and sweet floral hibiscus, balancing into spicy ginger, coriander, and bright orange peel.

Finish: Long, warm, and lingering with persistent notes of pine, dry spice, citrus oils, and a delicate floral dryness.

Serve: Serve over large ice cubes with premium Indian tonic water, garnished with a slice of fresh grapefruit or a twist of orange peel.
