Ventisquero Tara Chardonnay 2022

Vina Ventisquero Tara Chardonnay is a fresh, nervous, mineral wine. The mouth is tense and well-structured. The chalkiness and salinity of the soil come through in the palate. The nose reveals fruit, such as sweet cucumbers and apricots, as well as floral notes. As you sip the wine, it evolves in the glass. This is not a classic style of Chardonnay and we attribute this to its very particular and unique terroir.

The 2022 Chardonnay Tara, sourced from the Atacama Desert, was fermented in foudres and concrete eggs. Bottled with a touch of cloudy lees, it delivers aromas of herbs, wet stone and pineapple with a hint of ginger. Ample, creamy and chalky, it tightens as it flows, becoming compact at the back of the throat. This is a refreshing, saline Chardonnay from Chile.
