It is made from old vine plantings (1978) and is described as having a long, lingering finish with a unique petrol or tennis ball aroma, according to a tasting note on Gismondi on Wine. The wine's flavor profile includes crushed stones, lime pith and peel, mandarin, pear skin, and flake salts, Gismondi on Wine notes.
