About the Tanqueray London Dry Gin 1L
Tanqueray London Dry Gin is an iconic, double-distilled London dry gin produced by Charles Tanqueray & Co., owned by Diageo. Crafted using a timeless recipe that dates back to the 1830s, it is distilled four times in copper pot stills (including the famous "Old Tom" No. 4 Still) using four core botanicals: piney juniper, coriander seed, angelica root, and sweet liquorice. This balanced, juniper-forward combination delivers a crisp, dry, and classic gin profile.
Food Pairing: Fresh oysters, smoked salmon crostini, lemon-herb grilled chicken, goat cheese salad, or cured meats.
Tasting Notes : Crystal clear appearance with a light-to-medium, crisp, and clean body on the palate.
Nose : Direct and aromatic with dominant piney juniper, followed by bright citrus zest, herbal coriander, and earthy angelica root.
Palate : Crisp, dry, and balanced with prominent juniper, spicy coriander seeds, subtle citrus peel, and a smooth, bittersweet liquorice undertone.
Finish : Long, dry, and refreshing with lingering notes of piney juniper and warm herbal spice.
Serve : Serve thoroughly chilled over fresh ice with premium tonic water and a wedge of fresh lime in a classic Gin & Tonic, or as the base of a Dry Martini.
