Talisker 10 Year Old is a classic and intensely characterful single malt Scotch whisky that stands as the flagship expression from the rugged shores of the Isle of Skye. Widely celebrated as a benchmark coastal malt, it is distilled in unique wash stills with distinct looped lye pipes and cooled in traditional outdoor worm tubs, capturing an elemental, seaside profile. Patiently matured for a minimum of ten years in highly charred American oak ex-bourbon casks and bottled at its signature 45.8% ABV, it masterfully strikes a balance between coastal brine, heavy peat smoke, and a legendary, fiery black pepper kick.

Food Pairing: This highly maritime and smoky single malt pairs exquisitely with fresh seafood, particularly raw oysters on the half shell, smoked salmon, or seared scallops. TASTING NOTES - A brilliant, warm autumnal gold. The texture is full, rich, and oily, offering a deeply comforting, mouth-coating warmth across the palate.

NOSE - Powerful and distinctly coastal, opening with heavy clouds of pungent peat smoke, crisp sea-salt brine, and the liquid of fresh oysters, all beautifully balanced by a bright citrus sweetness and a touch of cracked black pepper.

PALATE - Rich, intense, and complex. An initial wave of dried fruit sweetness and sweet barley malt is quickly enveloped by thick, savory smoke, wet seaweed, and volcanic earth, building toward a famous, exploding burst of peppery spice at the back of the mouth.

FINISH - Immensely long, warming, and memorable. The drying peat smoke leaves a lingering footprint of sea salt, appetizing malt sweetness, and a signature, fiery cracked black pepper finale.
