Talenti Rosso di Montalcino

A magnificent and incredibly vibrant Tuscan red wine crafted by Riccardo Talenti from estate-owned vineyards situated across the south-easterly and south-westerly slopes of Montalcino. Rooted in sandy loam soils rich in limestone and heavy stone formations at altitudes between 250 and 400 meters, this 100% Sangiovese undergoes strict temperature-controlled maceration and stainless steel fermentation. It is aged for several months in a combination of 500-liter French oak tonneaux and traditional Slavonian oak barrels. It reveals a brilliant ruby red profile with striking violet reflections, bursting with a fresh, expressive bouquet of ripe red cherries, wild plums, sour cherries, and wild thyme. The palate is wonderfully smooth and mineral, balanced by a lively core acidity, elegant structure, and well-integrated, velvety tannins.
