Jean-Luc Pasquet Confluences Symphonie des Terroirs No.2 L.40Y Cognac is the second multi-cru expression in Maison Jean-Luc Pasquet's Confluences collection, created to showcase the harmony that can emerge from blending distinct Cognac terroirs. With an average age of 40 years, the composition brings together 50% Fins Bois L.81, 35% Borderies L.90s and 15% Grande Champagne L.57/62. The blend was assembled by Jean Pasquet on June 26, 2023 and bottled on March 3, 2025 at 48.8% ABV, with only 255 bottles produced.

Food Pairing: Aged Comté, roasted duck, foie gras, dried apricots, toasted almonds, orange tart, walnut pastries, and dark chocolate.

Tasting Notes: Full-bodied, mature and complex, balancing floral and honeyed nuances with dried fruit, citrus, toasted nuts, fine oak and warming spice.

Nose: Delicate floral aromas with honey and dried apricot, followed by toasted almond, leather and fine oak.

Palate: Full and layered, combining mature fruit, citrus zest, warming spice and oak with the freshness of Borderies, roundness of Fins Bois and length of Grande Champagne.

Finish: Long and elegant with lingering fruit, toasted nuts, oak and warming spice.
