About the Swear Jar 6 Year Old Maple Donut Canadian Whisky
Swear Jar 6 Year Old Maple Donut Canadian Whisky is a flavoured Canadian whisky built on a six-year-aged whisky base and enhanced with real maple syrup. Inspired by the classic Canadian maple donut, it combines rich maple sweetness with cinnamon heat and peppery spice, creating a smooth, dessert-driven expression with underlying caramel, butterscotch and whisky character. It is bottled at 35% ABV.
Food Pairing: Maple-glazed bacon, apple pie, cinnamon pastries, vanilla ice cream, bread pudding, or roasted nuts with caramel.
Tasting Notes: Sweet and indulgent, balancing maple syrup and confectionery richness with caramel, butterscotch, cinnamon and warming peppery spice.
Nose: Rich and inviting, with maple syrup, toffee and butterscotch accompanied by dark honey and warm baking spices.
Palate: Smooth and sweet, developing maple syrup, caramel and butterscotch alongside cinnamon heat and peppery spice.
Finish: Smooth and warming, with lingering maple sweetness, caramelized sugar and gentle cinnamon and pepper spice.
Serve: Enjoy neat, chilled or over ice; it also works well in dessert cocktails or added to coffee, where its maple and spice character can complement the drink.
