Distilled at Aberfeldy Distillery on 24 October 2013, it matured for 10 years in a second-fill ex-Bourbon hogshead. Bottled at approximately 57.5% ABV at cask strength, its SMWS flavour profile is “Light & Delicate,” emphasizing fresh fruit, citrus, delicate florals and sweet pastry-like notes.

Food Pairing: Lemon cake, pear tart, coconut sponge cake, mild creamy cheeses, fresh peaches or almond pastries.

Tasting Notes: Light and elegant despite its high strength, combining fresh orchard fruit, citrus, gentle floral sweetness, honey and soft confectionery notes.

Nose: Warm coconut sponge cake, fresh lemon zest and apple juice, developing delicate summer flowers and fresh garden aromas.

Palate: Grapefruit zest, plum, pear tart and gentle mace spice accompanied by fresh fennel. With water, sweeter notes of peach, heather honey, lemon sherbet, cane sugar and marzipan emerge.

Finish: Fresh and gently sweet with lingering citrus, orchard fruit, soft herbs, honey and almond-like sweetness.

Serve: Enjoy neat for the full cask-strength character, then gradually add a few drops of water to reveal more peach, floral, honey and confectionery notes.
