About the Suertes del Marques El Esquilon 2017
A magnificent and savory Spanish red wine masterfully crafted by Suertes del Marqués in Tenerife. Sourced from an eighty-year-old, north-facing single vineyard of un-grafted Listán Negro on volcanic soils, it undergoes spontaneous concrete-vat fermentation with partial whole clusters before small-barrel aging.
Food Pairing: Pairs flawlessly with slow-roasted lamb shoulder, grilled venison loin, charcoal-broiled ribeye steak, wild boar ragout, or mature sheep milk cheeses.
