A magnificent 1.5L Magnum of traditional Piedmontese red wine crafted by Cantina Stroppiana and named in honor of the winemakers' son, Leonardo. Sourced from choice estate plots across La Morra (Rivalta hamlet) and Verduno, this 100% Nebbiolo undergoes 24 months of careful maturation in a combination of French oak tonneaux and large casks. This large-format bottling offers excellent aging potential, accentuating an incredibly expressive profile bursting with fragrant aromas of leathery red cherries, wild strawberries, crushed rose petals, and forest floor, all layered with fine-grained, chalky tannins and hints of tobacco, mint, and licorice.
