An exceptionally smooth and distinctive "Napa-style" bourbon that elegantly bridges the gap between the cellar and the rickhouse! Straight Edge is a masterfully crafted blend of 5, 7, and 8-year-old straight bourbons sourced from elite producers in Kentucky and Tennessee. Once the blend is married, it is transported to Napa Valley, California, where it undergoes a secondary maturation in seasoned French oak barrels previously used to age Dave Phinney's iconic Mercury Head Cabernet Sauvignon. This finishing process imparts a lush, dark-fruit complexity and softens the whiskey's "corners." To ensure absolute purity, the spirit is titrated to its bottling strength using crystal-clear water from high-altitude aquifers in the Alexander Valley.

NOSE

Aromatically intriguing and multilayered. Classic bourbon notes of brown sugar, maple, and caramelized oak are beautifully intertwined with "Napa" influences of ripe blackberry, dark plum, orange peel, and a subtle hint of campfire smoke.

PALATE

Velvety smooth, rich, and remarkably mouth-filling. The palate is packed with decadent flavors of honey, intense caramel, and warm brown spices (like cinnamon and nutmeg), all supported by the silky tannins and dark chocolate notes of the wine-cask finish.
