About the Still Austin Bottled in Bond Red Corn Bourbon
Still Austin Bottled-in-Bond Red Corn Bourbon is a seasonal Texas straight bourbon from Still Austin Whiskey Co., built around heirloom Jimmy Red corn and entirely Texas-grown grain. The current Summer 2026 release is aged at least seven years and bottled at the required Bottled-in-Bond strength of 50% ABV. Its distinctive red-and-white corn mashbill creates a rich, nutty profile layered with red fruit, honey, marzipan, toasted nuts, mature oak and warming spice.
Food Pairing: Smoked brisket, barbecue ribs, aged cheddar, roasted almonds, pecan pie, or berry desserts with honey and toasted nuts.
Tasting Notes: Rich and nutty, balancing ripe red fruit and honey with marzipan, roasted almonds, walnuts, hazelnut, mature oak and warming spice.
Nose: Warm oak and gently cooked red fruit mingle with creamsicle, honey, aged tea, five-spice and pistachio.
Palate: Rich and textured, developing marzipan and sweet almond paste alongside ripe strawberry, walnuts, roasted almonds, rock candy and hazelnut.
Finish: Medium-long and mature, with refined tannins, pipe tobacco, hazelnut, leather and toasted marshmallow.
Serve: Enjoy neat or over a large cube of ice; a few drops of water can further open its red-fruit, nut and oak character.
