About the Still Austin Bottled in Bond Bourbon
Still Austin Bottled-in-Bond Straight Bourbon Whiskey is a grain-to-glass Texas bourbon produced in Austin using entirely Texas-grown grains. Bottled at the required Bottled-in-Bond strength of 50% ABV, its high-rye mashbill combines sweet white corn with assertive rye spice, creating a rich profile of dark fruit, caramelized sweetness and toasted grain alongside peach, citrus, floral pepper and seasoned oak.
Food Pairing: Smoked brisket, barbecue ribs, grilled steak, aged cheddar, pecan pie, or dark-fruit desserts with caramel and warming spices.
Tasting Notes: Rich and full-bodied, balancing dark fruit and caramelized sweetness with ripe peach, citrus zest, toasted grain, floral pepper, honey and warming oak spice.
Nose: Warm and aromatic, with baked plum and dark-fruit preserves accompanied by toasted grain, caramelized sweetness and gentle spice.
Palate: Full and layered, developing ripe peach and grapefruit zest alongside dried fig, floral pink peppercorn, sweet corn and seasoned oak.
Finish: Long and warming, with orange cream, clove, wildflower honey and lingering oak.
Serve: Enjoy neat at room temperature or over a large cube of ice; a few drops of water can further open its fruit, honey and spice character.
