About the Still Austin Bottled in Bond Blue Corn Bourbon
Still Austin Bottled-in-Bond Blue Corn Bourbon is a seasonal Texas straight bourbon produced grain-to-glass in Austin using entirely Texas-grown grains. Its distinctive high-rye mashbill combines blue and white corn with rye and malted barley, creating a rich balance of dark fruit, caramelized sweetness and nutty grain character. Bottled at 50% ABV, it layers red berries, cocoa and citrus with strawberry jam, caramel, coffee and warming rye spice.
Food Pairing: Smoked brisket, barbecue ribs, aged cheddar, roasted nuts, berry pie, or dark chocolate with caramel and warming spices.
Tasting Notes: Rich and expressive, balancing red berries and strawberry jam with caramel, cocoa, citrus, coffee, toasted grain and assertive rye spice.
Nose: Red berries and grapefruit peel lead into cocoa, sweet icing and shortcake with underlying seasoned oak.
Palate: Full and concentrated, developing strawberry jam and caramel candies alongside creamy cake, coffee, orange peel and warming rye spice.
Finish: Long and warming, with lingering caramelized sweetness, baking spice, mature oak and dark-fruit character.
Serve: Enjoy neat at room temperature or over a large cube of ice; a few drops of water can further open its fruit, caramel and spice character.
