Starlight Distillery Carl T Huber's Cigar Batch Amburana Bourbon

Starlight Distillery Carl T. Huber’s Cigar Batch Amburana Bourbon is a limited-release Indiana bourbon produced grain-to-glass on the Huber family estate. Mature bourbon from Starlight’s three- and four-grain recipes is blended before secondary maturation in Brazilian Amburana oak, whose intensely aromatic character adds distinctive spice and toasted sweetness. Bottled at 53% ABV for the current small-batch release, it delivers cigar box, vanilla and toasted oak alongside tobacco leaf, sweet cream, caramel, baking spice and burnt sugar.

Food Pairing: Smoked brisket, barbecue ribs, aged cheddar, roasted nuts, dark chocolate, or caramel desserts with cinnamon and toasted spices.

Tasting Notes: Rich and intensely aromatic, balancing vanilla and caramel with tobacco, sweet cream, toasted oak, burnt sugar and pronounced warming baking spice.

Nose: Cigar box and rich vanilla lead into warm spice and toasted oak with the distinctive aromatic influence of Amburana wood.

Palate: Rich and full-flavoured, developing tobacco leaf and sweet cream alongside caramel, toasted sweetness and layered baking spices.

Finish: Long and warming, with lingering spice, subtle burnt sugar, toasted oak and sweet aromatic wood.

Serve: Enjoy neat in a Glencairn or tulip-shaped glass; a few drops of water can soften the spice and reveal additional vanilla, caramel and Amburana character.
