Stanhope Kentucky Straight Rye

The bold, intensely spicy counterpart to the Stanhope Bourbon. Sourced from the Owensboro Distilling Co., this Kentucky Straight Rye features a massive mash bill of 95% rye and 5% malted barley. Aged in alligator-charred (Level 4) American oak barrels and bottled at 90.4 proof (45.2% ABV), it extracts heavily toasted, deeply concentrated wood sugars that brilliantly temper the aggressive, herbaceous bite of the rye grain, making it an exceptional sipping rye or cocktail base.

NOSE

Fragrant and bold with notes of fresh-baked rye bread, black licorice, citrus zest, and heavy barrel char.

PALATE

Rich, robust, and spice-forward. A massive rush of black pepper, clove, and star anise is beautifully rounded out by dark chocolate, ginger, and subtle mint.

FINISH

Long, chest-warming, and intensely spicy with a lingering, dry herbaceous character.
