A co-planted field blend of Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, and Syrah
Tasting notes
Deep purple in color, with a rich, savory taste and notes of dark fruit, dried flowers, blackberry, blueberry, cloves, bittersweet chocolate, and anise
Production
Co-fermented in open top oak tanks with native yeast, aged for 22 months in Hungarian and French oak barrels, and bottled without fining or filtration
Vineyard
Located on the steep slopes of a small canyon in the East Bay hillsides, the vineyard is farmed by hand and no herbicides are used
