Springbank 5 Year Old 100 Proof

Springbank 5 Year Old 100° Proof is a high-strength Campbeltown single malt introduced to the Springbank core range in 2025. Aged for five years and bottled at 57.1% ABV (100° UK Proof), the expression is produced with a consistent 100% Bourbon-cask maturation. Springbank’s lightly peated, 2.5-times-distilled spirit gives this youthful release a vibrant combination of orchard fruit, mineral character, gentle smoke and coastal Campbeltown character. 

Food Pairing: Smoked salmon, grilled pork, sharp cheddar, roasted nuts, lemon cake or white-chocolate desserts.

Tasting Notes: Bright and energetic with fresh fruit, confectionery sweetness, mineral notes, oily malt and gentle peat smoke.

Nose: Green apples, gorse, wine gums and a distinctive mineral note.

Palate: Balanced peat smoke with icing sugar and white chocolate, developing into tomato plant, sunflower seeds and linseed oil.

Finish: Honey and fresh gooseberries with lingering sweetness and gentle coastal smoke.

Serve: Enjoy neat to experience its full intensity, then add a few drops of water to open the fruit, sweetness and mineral character.
