A magnificent single-vineyard Piedmontese red wine sourced from the historic Perno cru in Monforte d'Alba. Displaying wonderful maturity, it reveals deep, layered notes of dried red currants, licorice, underbrush, and crushed iron-like minerals framed by a powerful, structured, and muscular tannin profile.

Food Pairing: Pairs flawlessly with slow-braised beef cheeks, roasted game birds, rich wild mushroom and black truffle pasta, or sharply aged hard cheeses.
