Marchesi Antinori Solaia 2017 is an exceptional, full-bodied Super Tuscan crafted from a premier 20-hectare southwest-facing vineyard situated on the Tenuta Tignanello estate in the heart of Chianti Classico. Despite the warm 2017 vintage, this wine demonstrates remarkable finesse, opening with an intense, fragrant bouquet of ripe blackcurrant, dark plum, and blackberry preserve, interwoven with complex layers of dark chocolate, sweet tobacco, crushed lavender, and graphite. On the palate, it is dense, rich, and velvety, offering incredible concentration of dark fruit supported by firm, fine-grained tannins and a surprising level of fresh acidity that carries through to a exceptionally long, polished finish.
