Marchesi Antinori Solaia 2009 is a magnificent, full-bodied Super Tuscan sourced from the premier 20-hectare, southwest-facing Solaia vineyard at the Tenuta Tignanello estate in the heart of Chianti Classico. Aged for approximately 18 months in new French oak barriques, this warm vintage displays a deep ruby-red hue with dark garnet highlights. The expressive bouquet opens with rich aromas of ripe blackcurrant, blackberry jam, and dark plum, harmoniously layered with nuances of dark chocolate, sweet tobacco, crushed mint, espresso, and toasted oak. On the palate, it reveals exceptional richness and concentration, delivering ripe, supple tannins and well-integrated acidity that leads into a long, velvety, and persistent finish.
