Smuggler's Trail Single Blended Whisky Dutch Whisky

Produced by Zuidam Distillers in Baarle-Nassau, Netherlands, Smuggler’s Trail Dutch Single Blended Whisky is an unusual blend in which every component is distilled in-house using Zuidam’s traditional pot stills. It combines single malt whisky, wheat whisky made from wheat and malted barley, and a five-grain whisky made from rye, corn, wheat, spelt and malted barley. Bottled at 43% ABV, the result is a smooth, grain-rich Dutch whisky with creamy malt and vanilla sweetness complemented by fruit, gentle spice and oak.

Food Pairing: Roasted pork, aged Gouda, grilled chicken, toasted almonds, caramel desserts, or apple pastries with warming spices.

Tasting Notes: Smooth and rounded, combining creamy malt and grain sweetness with vanilla, caramel, cooked fruit, chocolate and gentle oak spice.

Nose: Soft and inviting, with honeyed malt and subtle oak accompanied by dried fruit, vanilla and gentle grain sweetness.
